Home Access Center (HAC) is used to more easily and more accurately match the parent/guardian and student information for the request. A parent/guardian can create a HAC account for any student already enrolled in RRISD. The same HAC account can be used for multiple students associated with the same parent/guardian. Any guardian associated with the student in HAC may make the transfer request.

The HAC information page on the district web site contains more information including how to create a HAC account and links to the HAC web site.

Contact the campus HAC Coordinator for the campus your student is zoned to attend if you want more information. A link to the list of campus HAC Coordinators is on the district HAC information page.

Follow the link on the HAC login page if you have forgotten your username or password. Login to your HAC account if you have forgotten the email address associated with your HAC username.

HAC password is no longer used for this application. Instead, the HAC email address associated with your HAC username is used.

The HAC username must match exactly the username used to login to your HAC account. Only the HAC username is used for the parent/guardian listed as the primary person contacted for communication concerning your child. This is also the HAC username used in online enrollment. For new HAC accounts, follow the instructions on the district HAC information page to make sure your account is fully set up. The HAC email address must match the one associated with your HAC username.

Try to login to the HAC web site to make sure the credentials are working there. Contact your campus HAC coordinator for the campus your student is zoned to attend if you are still unable to use your credentials.

The employee credentials you use in this application are the same ones you use to login to the district network from your district computer. The username and password must match exactly the values used to login to the district network.

Try to login to the district network from a district computer to make sure the credentials are working there.

Open a Round Rock ISD help ticket using the red cross Customer Portal link on your district computer if you are unable to login to the district network. Contact your campus HAC Coordinator for the campus your student is zoned to attend if you can login to the district network, but your credentials are still not accepted.

Also, you must have an active, primary position in the HR system. If you are a new employee, your position may not yet be visible in the HR system. If this is the case, your credentials will not be accepted even if they are correct. If you receive an error message that states "Employee is not active" this is the case. Your position should be visible to the application within a few days.

Zoned school in the district student information system comes from the student's current address. If the student's address is outside the district, then there is no in-district zoned school. If you are an employee of the district you may proceed with the request. The zoned school will just indicate that no zoned location was found.
