FAQ
Those submitting an open enrollment/ out of district transfer request for any of our Round Rock ISD schools are families that live outside the attendance boundaries of all Round Rock ISD campuses.
Open Enrollment information pageHome Access Center (HAC) is used to more easily and more accurately match the parent/guardian and student information for the request. A parent/guardian can create a HAC account for any student already enrolled in RRISD. The same HAC account can be used for multiple students associated with the same parent/guardian. Any guardian associated with the student in HAC may make the transfer request.
HAC accounts are required for students zoned to a district school.
The HAC information page on the district web site contains more information including how to create a HAC account and links to the HAC web site.
Contact the campus HAC Coordinator for the campus your student is zoned to attend if you want more information. A link to the list of campus HAC Coordinators is on the district HAC information page.

The HAC email address must match the one associated with your HAC username.

Also, you must have an active, primary position in the HR system. If you are a new employee, your position may not yet be visible in the HR system. Your position should be visible to the application within a few days.
Zoned school in the district student information system comes from the student's current address. If the student's address is outside the district, then there is no in-district zoned school.
